Anne O'Hagan

I tell stories. Yours.

Anne O'Hagan a writer, strategist and book collaborator and the co-author of Jean Hough Davey’s memoir, The Only Woman in the Room: The Making of a Stockbroker (2017).

I’m in the business of words. As a writer, I create narrative, hone messages. As a strategist, I package concepts, identify positioning. As a collaborator, I find voice and bring book ideas to life. I tell stories.

I started as a TV reporter/news writer for Global, then freelanced abroad in Paris and Cairo for CBC and CNN. I was an award-winning agency copywriter, worked in politics, wrote for magazines and spent a decade leading strategic communications for publicly traded entertainment companies. My currency has always been content.

Now I co-author, book-doctor, advise, write and collaborate.

In parallel, I’m a partner in a  communications consultancy specializing in lifestyle, arts, entertainment and culture. For more, go here:

“Writer, strategist, book collaborator... Anne O’Hagan is all these things and more. She has an innate understanding of the market and the kind of positioning that books need to succeed. She’s professional, wonderful to work with, and someone I would trust implicitly with a wide-range of book projects.”
